We celebrate "Teachers Day" every year throughout the country on 5th September. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day.This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan- second president of India. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teachers day. A celebration was conducted at 'Euro International School, Sector-109', on 10th September 2019. A lot of power packed dance performances were given by the teachers. Cake cutting ceremony was followed by the lunch which was organized for the teachers. The whole staff enjoyed the celebration.

'Euro International School, Sector-109' organized a " Life Skill Workshop for Parents" on 7th September, 2019. The aim of the workshop is to help young parents to deal with the challenges that they are facing in parenting now a days. Having a balance between work and home life is a challenge for the parents, but with the help of such workshops we always tries to help them balance both the things. It was conducted by "Priyanka Paur", who is a motivational speaker and a certified NLP practitioner. She has a wonderful way of connecting to her audience, everyone can relate to her simple and touching manner of explaining the things. It was a wonderful experience for everyone present there.

'Grandparents' play an important role in the lives of every child. The pampering that grandkids gets from their grandparents leaves a lasting impression on their lives. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. To honour them "Euro International School, Sector- 109", Montessori Wing celebrated "Grandparents Day" on Saturday, 7 September 2019. The programme began with the auspicious 'Lighting of the Lamp' and was followed by the many power packed dance and song performances by the students, which left spectators spellbound and thoroughly mesmerized. Our students enjoyed seeing their grandparents in their school. There were so many games and activities organized specially for the grandparents. The success of the event was evident through the joyful smiles of the grandparents as they were overwhelmed to see their grandchildren performing for them.

"Orange Colour Day" was celebrated at 'EURO International School, Sector- 109' with great zeal and zest. Orange is a dynamic colour that stimulates imagination and creativity. Children were made aware of the colour by using different themes like coloured sheets, balloons, cut- outs etc. Tiny toddlers and teachers were beautifully dressed in orange colored attires. Tiny tots enjoyed a lot the whole fun- filled day.

In order to celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna, a special assembly was organized in 'Euro International School, Sector- 109'. According to Hindu calendar, Janmashtami is celebrated on the 8th day of a dark fortnight in the month of Bhadon. The sole objective of Shri Krishna's birth and to celebrate Janmashtami is to free the Earth from the evilness of demons. All children came in traditional dresses. Some boys came dressed as 'Krishna' and some girls came dressed as 'Radha'. Children merrily performed dance to the tunes of devotional songs. Teachers explained the importance of the festival to the students. Children participated in the celebration with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The "Academic Presentation" of 'class- Ist' and 'class- 2nd' was held today at 'Euro International School, Sector-109'. The presentation started with the prayer and then kids sang a welcome song for the audience. The students shared their knowledge and views on different topics of various subjects. They spoke about Hindi, English, Maths, EVS, importance of different parts of computers. They also did different Yoga asanas, Karate moves and taekwondo moves for the audience. The main purpose of this Academic Presentation was that the parents should be acquainted with the matters which students have learned throughout this a academic session. The presentation ended up with the students dance performance.

It was a fun-filled day for the kindergarten kids of 'Euro International School, Sector-109', as they celebrated "Blue Colour Day" on Monday- 19th August, 2019. Blue colour is a symbol of life, it represents both the sky and the sea. Blue is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith and trust. With an objective to introduce colours and their identification this day was celebrated. All the Kindergarten children and teachers turned up in blue coloured dresses. Tiny tots enjoyed a lot the whole fun- filled day.

The importance of drama and performing arts in education is significant. Whether children have the opportunity to perform in theatre productions or help out behind the scenes, studying Drama and performing Arts not only engages with the creative side of the brain, it also provides an ideal balance in students pattern of study. Keeping this thought in mind 'Euro International School, Sector-109', came up with English plays by 'Shakespeare' - " The Merchant of Venice" & "Macbeth". All the students and teachers tried their level best to make these plays a hit. By giving the students chance to perform in such acts give them exposure of the stage as well as it makes them more confident. Overall it was a great experience for the students. Parents were also happy and proud to see the performance of the children.
