SUMMER CAMP 2018 - DAY 4 The day was about the art of self-defence and skills. Today in Euro International School Sector-109, students participated in Taekwondo activity. The children learns the importance of self defence. Some children learn better through reading, others learn better through doing - which brings us to the Abacus activity & Reading newspaper. students learned the correct way of speaking, pronunciation & numeracy.
" Learning by doing is the only way to learn". Euro International School sector 109 too believes in practical approach to learning and hence we conducted an activity for class VI students. In this activity they learnt how two different yarns are woven together to form fabric. This gave them an idea how two threads are interlocked to form a fabric.
Summers are not just about sweltering heat, it is time to mix learning with lots of fun. Euro International School Sector -109, organised exciting Summer Camp from 21st May to 8th june 2018. This unique 3 week programme has been conceptualised to provide children with an opportunity to engage in different areas of interests and rediscover the joy of learning. Different Activities will be organized in this Summer Camp which include art & crafts, sports, dance, music, personality development, calligraphy, pottery, organic farming and many more. Today is the 1st day of summer camp, here students performed story telling with props activity that allow students to express themselves freely & creatively in an real way. Practice in Art & Craft activity that helps in developing children confidence with their own drawing projects.
IT’S A HANDS-ON SCIENCE WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS. Euro International School Sector 109, organized a SCIENCE WORKSHOP which was conducted by Ms. Anjali Singh, Educator & Motivational Trainer from Ratna Sagar Publishers. She personally trained our teachers with her one-day science workshop. She uses eye-catching learning tools while focused on the real science that is being taught. It’s a great way to re-energize the teachers as they focus on making science more fun and meaningful.
At Euro International School sector-109, PUBLIC SPEAKING activities are designed to develop speech fluency, spontaneity and confidence while having fun! Today exercises for PUBLIC SPEAKING in class 6th & 1st help students to advance their public-speaking abilities. Exercises begin with a brainstorming session. Students spoke on various topic. One Minute Speeches game was carried out among students. So, values are learnt in an enjoyable way.
Euro international School sector-109, in a bid to promote green Diwali and reduce the use of fire-crackers organized a special assembly. Students started the assembly with the morning Prayer. Group Dance, Speeches, News, Thought of the day & Poem was well presented by the students. The performances given by the students was liked and applauded by all. The School Principal, Dr. Priya Shrivastava appreciated this endeavour of the students and encouraged them to celebrate every festival with the same spirit and enthusiasm. She taught students how this pious festival can be celebrated in other way than by just burning crackers and polluting the environment. At the end, the children pledged to forgo the bursting of crackers. Students of Euro International School sector-109 had a fantastic day celebrating Diwali.
On 3rd November 2018, Students of Euro international School sector-109 celebrated the festival of Diwali by organizing competition based on the theme of Diwali. The children took part in Rangoli making, Diya and Thali decoration. The whole display was overwhelming. The celebration was appreciated and enjoyed by all. The competition concluded with Principal Ma'am giving away the message of a clean, peaceful and a bright Diwali.
"Debate Session" was held today at 'Euro International School, Sector- 109' for Grades 'IVth - VIIIth'. Debates prepares students to use their interpersonal skills and also it is an interesting way for students to share knowledge. Various topics were included such as:- 1.Recycling should be done or not?, 2.Car pooling controls pollution. It should be done or not? 3.Plastic bags should be banned or not? 4. Is our feedom, still our freedom? 5. Should students be graded on the basis of good handwriting or not? etc. The main 'purpose' behind such activities is the personality development of the students.
'Euro International School, Sector-109', Gurugram organized "Skating Competition" for 'grade Ist - IIIrd'. Roller skating is the perfect way to combine fitness with fun. It helps people develop a fitness habit with a sport that is enjoyable for all ages. A sport at primary level is not about competition; it is about having fun, being physically active and learning the basics of sports and building co-ordination and motor- skills so as to give the little angeles an opportunity to display their self- confidence, patience, zeal and sportsmanship.
