Celebrating festivals in Euro International Group of Schools have become an integral part of learning and building a strong cultural belief in a childrens. Keeping its values intact, Today in Euro International School Sector-109, students celebrate baisakhi festival. Celebration of baisakhi festival bring happiness and love among the students. The festival is conducted with great enthusiasm and the students are encouraged to embrace different cultures.
Festival of "Baisakhi" is celebrated with lot of joy and enthusiasm in the northern state of 'Punjab and Haryana'. Farmers are jubilant over the festival as for them Baisakhi marks the time for harvest of rabi crops. Baisakhi festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm at ' Euro International School, Sector- 109', in two parts on 11th April, 2019 'Mont. Classes' celebration took place where, Students came dressed in traditional Punjabi colourful outfits with ornaments and accessories. All of the students enjoyed dancing on Bhangra beats and were shown a movie related to Baisakhi. On 12th April, 2019 celebration of Senior classes took place. A special assembly was organised where Students shared the Hindi and English News, Thought of the Day. After that spectacular dance performances was given by Grade Ist to Vth Students. Assembly concluded with 'National Anthem'. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for Students.
The celebration of Diwali, ‘The festival of lights' came alive at Euro international School sector-109, on 2nd November 2018. A special assembly was conducted. During the assembly, the children pledged to forgo the bursting of crackers. Students talked about the significance of the festival. A captivating dance performance was the bonus bonanza of the day. Little toddlers enjoyed the film “HOME COMING OF RAM” and at the same time they taught, why not to use crackers through PowerPoint presentation. The celebration was appreciated and enjoyed by all. The School Principal, Dr. Priya Shrivastava and Primary In-Charges wished all the students a very happy, prosperous and safe Diwali without crackers.
The festival of Colours "Holo Ki Toli" was celebrated with great enthusiasm at 'Euro International School, Sector- 109' on 16 th March 2019. Holi is known as the colorful festival in which people enjoys by spraying colours on their friends and relatives.The entire School buzzed with various fun activities like- Blow the Candle, Tatto Making, Alphabet Games, Dance and Music, Jewellery Making from Pasta, Painting with Balloon, Hit the Glass, Throw the Ball and Coin Game. Staff greeted every parent with sweets and Gulal teeka. Everyone enjoyed alot the whole event.
“Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna” Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great zeal and pomp by the Montessori wing of Euro International School sector-109. Children came dressed in, as Krishna and Radha. The involvement of the children in the celebrations at such a tender age was worth applauding. Children celebrated the occasion by singing and dancing with great enthusiasm.
Euro international School sector-109, in a bid to promote green Diwali and reduce the use of fire-crackers organized a special assembly. Students started the assembly with the morning Prayer. Group Dance, Speeches, News, Thought of the day & Poem was well presented by the students. The performances given by the students was liked and applauded by all. The School Principal, Dr. Priya Shrivastava appreciated this endeavour of the students and encouraged them to celebrate every festival with the same spirit and enthusiasm. She taught students how this pious festival can be celebrated in other way than by just burning crackers and polluting the environment. At the end, the children pledged to forgo the bursting of crackers. Students of Euro International School sector-109 had a fantastic day celebrating Diwali.
On 3rd November 2018, Students of Euro international School sector-109 celebrated the festival of Diwali by organizing competition based on the theme of Diwali. The children took part in Rangoli making, Diya and Thali decoration. The whole display was overwhelming. The celebration was appreciated and enjoyed by all. The competition concluded with Principal Ma'am giving away the message of a clean, peaceful and a bright Diwali.
Children of Euro international school sector-109 visited Gurudwara on 20 November, 2018 on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. Everyone was very excited to go the Gurdwara Sahib.Children covered their head with scarves & washed their feet and started with paying reverence to the holy book of the Sikh ‘THE GURUGRANTH SAHIB’. Children were involved in a small prayer in which all of them diligently participated. The children were delighted to receive the Prasad. It was a pleasant and an enriching experience for the children as they were enlightened about the festival.
"26th January" is a gala day for every Indian.On 26th January 1950, the Constitution of India came into force and our country, India became the Republic.We celebrate this day as a festival every year. "Republic Day" was celebrated with pomp and show at Euro International school, Sector-109. A 'special assembly' was organised to make the students aware about the importance of this day. The theme of the assembly was ''patriotism".Assembly began with the chanting of 'Gayatri Mantra'. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the students danced to the tunes of patriotism, sang patriotic songs and even wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion.A skit based on the theme 'Fundamental Rights' was played by the students. The program concluded with the" National Anthem".
