"Activity on Table Manners' was organised today at Euro International School, Sector- 109. Table manners are etiquette used while eating, which may also include the appropriate use of utensils, cutleries. No matter where we are - at home, work or with friends- practicing good manners is vital. Manners are something used every day to make a good impression on others and to feel good about one self. Inculcating such etiquette's from an early age will do world of good for children. Different cultures practice varied rules for table manners. Children took part in this activity with great enthusiasm and enjoyed it immensely.
“The best colour in the whole world is the one that looks good on you.” Euro International School Sector-109 celebrate “RED DAY” on Friday, April 27, 2018. All the little angels of school dressed up beautifully in Red colour clothes & bring red colour fruits. The class was decorated with red colour.Teachers were also dressed up in red colour clothes. To help children recognize the colour “RED”, class activities revolve around this colour. A lovely day passed by with getting introduced to the colour of love – Red Colour. #THINKBIG
Dussehra, the festival to celebrate the victory of good over evil. On 11th October, 2018, Students of Euro International School Sec-109 celebrated Dussehra with religious zeal. The students came in traditional attires. A special assembly was held wherein the story of Ramayana was depicted through musical presentation. This was followed by a special performance by the students of primary wing and senior wing. Later, Montessori kids assembled in the playground for the symbolic burning of the effigy of Ravana. Little toddlers enjoyed the film “RAMAYANA”. The celebration was appreciated and enjoyed by all.
Euro International School Sector-109 organized a workshop on “Good touch and Bad touch” on 2nd of November 2018. All students from Montessori class and primary class actively participated where they were taught about their “Safe zones” with the help of numerous videos and pictures. The students learnt how to differentiate and identify “bad touch” or other “uncomfortable behavior” from others. At the end of the session each child had to answer a questionnaire to review their understanding.
"Debate Session" was held today at 'Euro International School, Sector- 109' for Grades 'IVth - VIIIth'. Debates prepares students to use their interpersonal skills and also it is an interesting way for students to share knowledge. Various topics were included such as:- 1.Recycling should be done or not?, 2.Car pooling controls pollution. It should be done or not? 3.Plastic bags should be banned or not? 4. Is our feedom, still our freedom? 5. Should students be graded on the basis of good handwriting or not? etc. The main 'purpose' behind such activities is the personality development of the students.
