Green Day was celebrated with great energy and enjoyment in the Montessori Wing of Euro International School sector-109 on 6th July, 2018. Kids were taught the identification and recognition of green fruits, vegetables, leaves and trees.Children brought green snacks and eatables in their tiffins. Quiz on green objects, games on green colour were organised throughout the day. Acts of plantation conveyed the message that we should not cut trees and plant more & more trees. Green Day was a practical learning experience for the children and was very enjoyable.
Purple is the highest colour in the visible spectrum. This colour is known as one of the "cool" colours. To make the students aware to purple colour the day was celebrated at Euro International school on 30th November, 2018. Every student was in a Purple coloured dress. Children brought purple coloured objects like toys.All the teachers showed the purple coloured objects to tiny tots and the students were asked to recognize the objects and they named various objects according to their knowledge.
"Black and White Colour Day" was celebrated in 'Euro International School' Sector- 109, Montessori section on Friday, 1st February 2019.Students were dressed in black and white attire. They were shown different black and white objects such as white paper, black pen, black & white coloured toys etc.They were asked to name few black and white objects that they see in their environment and surroundings. They listened to rhymes related to the colours of black and white. Also, to enhance their speaking skills, learners had the show activity where they spoke about objects and pictures related to the colours. It was indeed a fun- filled learning day!
"Brown" is the colour of earth , wood and stones. Shades of brown convey concepts of earth-friendly and all natural. To make the students aware to brown colour, the day was celebrated at Euro International school, Sector- 109 .Recognizing the brown colour and identifying the different shades of brown was the motive behind celebrating brown colour day. Every student and teachers were in brown coloured dress. Children brought brown colour objects like toys and fruits. Classroom was also decorated with brown coloured objects. The blooming buds enjoyed a lot and simultaneously understood the aesthetic sense of Brown colour.
Tiny toddlers of Euro International School sector-109 celebrated Pink Day on 22 October, 2018. It was wonderful to see our children bloom and blossom in different shades of pink. The young ones came dressed in pink colour and brought pink coloured toys. All the pink colour objects were displayed in the class. Painting and colouring activities reinforced the concept of colour in children. The blooming buds enjoyed a lot and simultaneously understood the aesthetic sense of pink colour.
Euro international School sector-109, in a bid to promote green Diwali and reduce the use of fire-crackers organized a special assembly. Students started the assembly with the morning Prayer. Group Dance, Speeches, News, Thought of the day & Poem was well presented by the students. The performances given by the students was liked and applauded by all. The School Principal, Dr. Priya Shrivastava appreciated this endeavour of the students and encouraged them to celebrate every festival with the same spirit and enthusiasm. She taught students how this pious festival can be celebrated in other way than by just burning crackers and polluting the environment. At the end, the children pledged to forgo the bursting of crackers. Students of Euro International School sector-109 had a fantastic day celebrating Diwali.
