“Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna” Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great zeal and pomp by the Montessori wing of Euro International School sector-109. Children came dressed in, as Krishna and Radha. The involvement of the children in the celebrations at such a tender age was worth applauding. Children celebrated the occasion by singing and dancing with great enthusiasm.
Festival of "Baisakhi" is celebrated with lot of joy and enthusiasm in the northern state of 'Punjab and Haryana'. Farmers are jubilant over the festival as for them Baisakhi marks the time for harvest of rabi crops. Baisakhi festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm at ' Euro International School, Sector- 109', in two parts on 11th April, 2019 'Mont. Classes' celebration took place where, Students came dressed in traditional Punjabi colourful outfits with ornaments and accessories. All of the students enjoyed dancing on Bhangra beats and were shown a movie related to Baisakhi. On 12th April, 2019 celebration of Senior classes took place. A special assembly was organised where Students shared the Hindi and English News, Thought of the Day. After that spectacular dance performances was given by Grade Ist to Vth Students. Assembly concluded with 'National Anthem'. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for Students.
"Basant Panchmi" is an occasion which marks the advent of the 'Spring Season' and is also celebrated to worship 'Saraswati', the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. This day was celebrated at 'Euro International School, Sector- 109', with great fervour and enthusiasm. The children of Montessori wing came dressed in yellow coloured clothes, offered yellow coloured flowers to the Goddess and also brought yellow coloured food in their tiffin's. The students assembled together to pray and attain blessings from "Goddess Saraswati" to reach the epitome of knowledge. The Pooja started with a beautiful 'Saraswati Vandana' and after that Prasad was distributed among the children. The children enjoyed the day alot.
