Zumba is more of a fun dance party where you workout while dancing. Euro international school sector-109 invited Ms Meenakshi, Zumba Instructor, to share her experience and benefits of ZUMBA. The session was enjoyed by one and all.
Euro International School sector-109 organised a Mango Party for Montessori wings. It was a perfect day to celebrate the season of the king of fruits “MANGO” in the form of a Mango Party. Children shared and relished various varieties of mangoes they had brought as special tiffins and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Euro International School sector-109 celebrated Haryana Day on 1st Nov 2018. The Students of Montessori wing conducted the morning assembly. Teachers highlighted the significance of Haryana Day which is celebrated on 1st November every year. Some interesting facts on Haryana were shared. It was really an entertaining as well as enlightening day.
To help the students understand that vegetables are an important component of a healthy diet, a visit to vegetable market was organized by Euro International School, sector-109 for the pre-primary students, on November 17 2018. The students were taught about the different varieties of fruits and vegetables. The students were sensitized towards the environmental causes. The use of jute and cloth bags was advocated over the plastic bags. They brought food items from different food groups and shared it with their classmates. They enjoyed the activity thoroughly.
Euro International School sector-109 celebrated its 1st Annual Day on Saturday , 22nd December , 2018 amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. Mr. Yashpal Yadav, MCG Commissioner was the Hon’ble Chief Guest on the occasion. Other dignitaries present were Mr. SatyaVir Yadav-Chairman, Ms Swati Yadav- director, Ms Reena Sharma- director, Principal of EIS group, Press, Parents and students. The programme based on the theme “SANSKAR” comprised the Welcome Dance. The programme commenced with the lighting of the Ceremonial lamp. Our principal, Dr. Priya Shrivastava , shared the School’s Annual report. This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The ebullient students of the school presented a message oriented ‘Naukkad natak’ followed by a Group Song, dance performance , English act, mime and many more. Then the grand finale was performed by all students of EIS-109. The programme culminated with the National Anthem.
The "Academic presentation" of 'class- 2nd' and 'class- 3rd' was held today at Euro International School, Sector- 109. The presentation started with the prayer. The students shared their knowledge and views on different topics of various subjects. They spoke about Plants & Trees, importance of Time, explained parts of Computer etc. The idea behind this academic presentation was that parents should be acquainted with the matters which students have learned throughout their session. The presentation concluded with enchanting dance performance by children.
The "Academic presentation" of 'class- 4th' and 'class- 5th' was held today at Euro International School, Sector- 109. A 'presentation' is any situation which involves speaking to a group of people in order to make a point, educate or share information.The presentation started with the prayer. The purpose behind this presentation was to make parents aware about what students have learned during this session. It also provides an exposure to the students which is very essential for facing the challenges of today's competitive world.
"Debate Session" was held today at 'Euro International School, Sector- 109' for Grades 'IVth - VIIIth'. Debates prepares students to use their interpersonal skills and also it is an interesting way for students to share knowledge. Various topics were included such as:- 1.Recycling should be done or not?, 2.Car pooling controls pollution. It should be done or not? 3.Plastic bags should be banned or not? 4. Is our feedom, still our freedom? 5. Should students be graded on the basis of good handwriting or not? etc. The main 'purpose' behind such activities is the personality development of the students.
