Euro International School sector-109 organised a Mango Party for Montessori wings. It was a perfect day to celebrate the season of the king of fruits “MANGO” in the form of a Mango Party. Children shared and relished various varieties of mangoes they had brought as special tiffins and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Dussehra, the festival to celebrate the victory of good over evil. On 11th October, 2018, Students of Euro International School Sec-109 celebrated Dussehra with religious zeal. The students came in traditional attires. A special assembly was held wherein the story of Ramayana was depicted through musical presentation. This was followed by a special performance by the students of primary wing and senior wing. Later, Montessori kids assembled in the playground for the symbolic burning of the effigy of Ravana. Little toddlers enjoyed the film “RAMAYANA”. The celebration was appreciated and enjoyed by all.
“Shades of yellow stimulates our little ones with happiness, energy and optimism” Keeping this in mind, montessori wing of Euro International School sector-109 celebrates “Yellow Day” on 4th May, 2018. Teachers and students were dressed up in Yellow dresses. Kids bought Tiffins filled with Bananas, Jelly, Mangoes & Pineapples. To make the children understand about the significance of yellow colour, various activities were conducted.
On 4th May 2018 Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccination camp was organized in Euro International School sector-109. The camp was held under the guidance of specialist doctors from Civil Hospital, where 115 students were vaccinated. Let’s make our efforts to reduce morbidity and adapt a healthy lifestyle. #THINKBIG
The day that celebrates the essence of a mother is Mother's Day. Euro International School sector-109 organised a get-together of mothers to make them feel special on the Mothers' Day. Mothers relived their childhood by participating in different activities. A Ramp walk, Games, Dancing & many more competition was organized for the mothers of montessori wing. At the end, Head of the Euro International School sector-109 Dr.Priya Shrivastava thanked & applauded the efforts of all the mothers in making the programme a grand success. #THINKBIG
2 October 2018-19 Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in Montessori wing of Euro International School sector-109. The assembly for the Montessori wing began with a special tribute to Gandhi ji. Kids spoke on Gandhi ji and they even drew and colored symbols associated with him. Class MIII made the spinning wheel/ charkha & Gandhi ji in their activity sheets and the day closed with the Gandhi ji’s last words “HEY RAM” resonating in the air.
Assemblies are significant feature of School’s routine. To mark the relevance and importance of Mother’s Day, Special assembly was held on 16th of May 2018 in Euro International School sector-109 by the students of class 1st to 8th. Students started the assembly with the morning prayer. Group Dance, Speeches, News, Thought of the day & Poem was well presented by the students. The performances given by the students was liked and applauded by all. #THINKBIG
Green Day was celebrated with great energy and enjoyment in the Montessori Wing of Euro International School sector-109 on 6th July, 2018. Kids were taught the identification and recognition of green fruits, vegetables, leaves and trees.Children brought green snacks and eatables in their tiffins. Quiz on green objects, games on green colour were organised throughout the day. Acts of plantation conveyed the message that we should not cut trees and plant more & more trees. Green Day was a practical learning experience for the children and was very enjoyable.
The celebration of Diwali, ‘The festival of lights' came alive at Euro international School sector-109, on 2nd November 2018. A special assembly was conducted. During the assembly, the children pledged to forgo the bursting of crackers. Students talked about the significance of the festival. A captivating dance performance was the bonus bonanza of the day. Little toddlers enjoyed the film “HOME COMING OF RAM” and at the same time they taught, why not to use crackers through PowerPoint presentation. The celebration was appreciated and enjoyed by all. The School Principal, Dr. Priya Shrivastava and Primary In-Charges wished all the students a very happy, prosperous and safe Diwali without crackers.
